Peer-Peer Social Learning – CoachingOurselves

Peer Coaching in Management practices are applied in observing, applying and reflecting what we do daily in our everyday management practice – the actual doing of our craft.

As an example, if we have a business challenge – instead of telling somewhat what the problem and solution might be. Social learning works with the idea of support from one another to figure it out, or making sense of a solution to the problem. Social Learning also includes do it yourself (DIY) thinking and with teammates, and is usually done in a semi-structured group. The relationships builds trust, honesty in communications to accomplish the solution.

Reflective communications are part of the process of making social learning effective. Do it Yourself and with others works well with virtual instructor led classrooms. The small team environment encourages the needed support for managers to work together to solve the business challenges. The training is facilitated and provides structure to accomplish the goals.
